The Bulldog Baseball team continued their undefeated season in 5A Area 1 play, sweeping the Leflore Rattlers last Friday.  After completing previous series sweeps over Williamson and B. C. Rain, the Bulldogs did not allow a hit in the series and run-ruled the Rattlers in both contests.  This week, the Bulldogs play their final Area series against Elberta.  Elberta is also undefeated in Area play at 4-0, with a series left with Leflore next week.  The Bulldogs will host the Warriors on Thursday at 5:00 at Radcliff Field before traveling to Elberta for Friday's double header.

Game 1 Recap
Preston Tanner started on the mound and pitched a perfect game through 5 innings of play, striking out 12 Leflore batters. Manning Amorde's inside the park homerun set the pace for a big day at the plate.  Amorde, Jeff Holston and Sage Guesnard had 2 RBIs apiece and John Ramsay stole 4 bases for the Bulldogs.

Game 2 Recap
The Bulldogs scored 7 runs in the opening inning as Ramsay, Ty Waters, Tanner and Brady Lathan all recorded RBIs in the opening frame.  John Ellis Pritchard and Amorde both drew bases loaded walks in the 2nd inning to put the Bulldogs up 9-0 on their way to an 11-0 win.  Sam Davis pitched a 3 inning no hitter, striking out 7 and walking one batter to earn the Win.
