In the 14 previous Enterprise Invitational Volleyball Tournaments, the Enterprise Wildcats have held up the 1st place trophy on Saturday night.  But in 2024 there is a new champion, and the Lady Bulldogs from UMS-Wright held up the winners trophy after a marathon 6 match day.  The Bulldogs were 4-0 in Pool Play, losing only one set in 4 games knocking off Central - Phenix City, Kinston, Ashford and Millry.  Entering the Gold Bracket with the winners of the other 3 pools, the Bulldogs beat North Bay Haven out of Panama City 2-1 to advance to the Finals.  There awaited the 14-time defending tournament champions and hosts, the Enterprise Wildcats.  UMS-Wright won in straight sets to claim the championship and improve to an overall record of 14-4 on the season.

The Bulldogs have another busy week ahead with a Tri-Match at MGM on Tuesday, a home match Thursday, and a weekend tournament at Satsuma.
