With their victory over Faith Academy in Wilson Gym last night, the Varsity Volleyball team improves to 27-5 on the season. The win also marks 500 career victories for Coach Wing Brett. The Lady Bulldogs have won 22 of their last 23 matches dating back to September 4th, including a stretch of 17 straight in September.

Earlier this week, UMS-Wright cruised to the regular season 5A Area 1 championship defeating B. C. Rain, Williamson and Elberta in straight sets.
Defeating Faith for their 5th consecutive win since dropping a home match to 4A #1 Mobile Christian, the Bulldogs now enter the final week of the regular season with the Battle of Old Shell Road Tournament this weekend. The Bulldogs will face Spanish Fort, Daphne and Baker in pool play on Saturday morning before bracket play begins that afternoon. Next week, they will host St. Michael and Baker for a Tri-Match on Tuesday before the regular season finale at Cottage Hill on Thursday.
The Area Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th and will be held in Wilson Gym.
