The Varsity Football season kicks off this Friday night with the annual rivalry game against St. Paul's.  The Saints will host the Battle of Old Shell Road this season at Delaney Field.  The Bulldogs have been preparing for many weeks at this point, but it's finally GAME WEEK!  

Coach Curtis on the team's preparation for the 2024 Season:

WOW!! IT'S BEEN HOT!!
    The summer and the start of fall camp has been hot, tough, and very encouraging. The players, coaches, managers, trainers have all gone way beyond the expectations. It has been very satisfying as an old coach to watch everyone not let the elements beat them physically or mentally.
    We have worked on some new, exciting adjustments that will only make us better and more efficient. We are still going to be a team who will run the football and throw it when we want to throw and not when we have to throw. Defensively, we have several key players back which is always a good thing. Coach Koziol and his staff have the guys playing fast with excellent technique and leverage.
    I don't like to call out players, because I worry of leaving someone out. We have a total of 89 players with 17 seniors who are leading just like the seniors before them. With a week before the first game, we still have a lot of players vying for playing time.
    We open the season this Friday, August 23, at 6A St. Paul's. We need a big crowd on our side as we always do, cheering proud and loud which also helps the cheerleaders
and band who are always proud and loud! Our entire program needs your support home or away. I can promise you they will make you "Glad you are a Bulldog" because of the preparation they have done to be successful.
