All 4 of the remaining undefeated Region 1 teams play each other this week, so the standings and playoff seedings will begin taking shape.  The Bulldogs are the only 2-0 team in the Region, while Vigor, Williamson and Citronelle are all 1-0.  Tonight's winners will be in the driver's seat for a top 2 seed and an opening round playoff game at home. 
 
 
Vigor has dominated their first 3 opponents, winning by an average score of 44-7.  In their last two games at Tuscaloosa County and at home vs Leflore, the Wolves have scored 111 points.  In the game at Tuscaloosa County, Vigor put up 483 yards of offense as QB Sammie Dunn passed for 305 yards and ran for another 45 yards.  His favorite target was Senior #4 Gerritt Holcombe, who had 8 catches for 128 yards.
 
For the Bulldogs, Junior QB Max Fowler is completing 71% of his passes and averages 20 completions per game.  He has thrown 5 TD passes and has yet to throw an interception, while also scoring 4 rushing TDs.  Richard Scott is the team's leading rusher with 161 yards and a TD. Scott also leads the team in receptions, reeling in 26 catches so far for 201 yards and a TD.  Thomas Portacci has 16 catches and 2 TDs.
 
Perry Hand leads the defense with 30 tackles, 2 Interceptions and 6 TFLs.  Hayes Howard, Andrew Cook and Hand are the sack leaders with 2 apiece.
