From the Coaches
Coach Dean on the Offense:
We got off to a good start Friday night. We were making plays on the ground and through the air. We generated a lot of momentum, but didn't sustain it throughout the game. B.C. Rain is an athletic team, and we knew we had to take advantage of every opportunity, and we didn't do that. We have another team this week in Citronelle that is 4-3, and it will be another challenge. We still have the opportunity to close out the regular season and get into the playoffs. We are going to continue to work just as hard as we have always done, and coach the kids up hard.
Coach Koziol on the Defense:
Friday night's loss was very disappointing. The defense gave up too many explosive plays, and we let the receivers get behind us in pass coverage. Their QB did a good job of buying time and extending plays, making some really good throws to find his receivers.
I need to do a better job of getting our guys ready to play and executing their assignments. Tackling still needs improvement, and we need all 11 players on the field playing with maximum effort.
