The Cross Country teams wrapped up their regular season with an overall 2nd place finish in the McGill Relays on Saturday.  This is a unique event with runners paired off in co-ed flights.  The races are 3200m instead of the usual 5k race.  Here are the results from the meet:

Flight 1: Brenda Ellis 2nd 12:43.33 / Joseph Perry 2nd 10:31.00

Flight 2: Carlen Cook 2nd 13:06.89 / Matthew Taylor 1st 10:44.58

Flight 3: Anna-Riley Stimpson 4th 13:49.27 / Tre Mitchell 2nd 11:17.09

Flight 4: Barclay McGinley 5th 14:43.30 / Josh Holston 2nd 11:12.60

Flight 5: Annie Jeffery 5th 13:48.27 / Megan Taylor 8th 14:48.11 / Trey Weaver 6th 11:45.52 / Owen Martin 7th 11:52.74

In the 5k Open Division, our JV Boys picked up a 2nd place finish behind top 15 finishes from Alex Gamble (10th 19:40.91), Parker Dexter (11th 19:41.58), Griffin Percy (13th 20:01.79) and J. Roe Hand (15th 20:08.22).  

The Cross Country teams will be traveling to Montgomery on Thursday for the Sectional Meet, which is the qualifying meet for the State Meet the following weekend. The Sectional teams are listed below.
