The 5th ranked Boys Soccer team wrapped up the best regular season in program history on Thursday night, defeating Satsuma 3-0. With a record of 15-1-3, it is the best regular season winning percentage in school history. Just as impressive as the overall record, UMS-Wright has only conceded 4 goals in 19 games played this year.
Kingston Phan,
Wes Cooper and
Alex Barrera each scored a goal in the win over the Gators, while
Christian Holloway and
Jacob Cole combined for the shutout in goal. This game wrapped up an 8 game unbeaten streak to close out the season as the Bulldogs won 7 and tied one over the last 5 weeks. The Bulldogs ended their area play tied with Faith Academy at 7-1 for the top spot, but will be the 2-seed in the playoffs due to tiebreakers.
