The Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Orange Beach 1-0 in dramatic fashion last night with the winning goal coming in the last 2 minutes of the game from a header by Wes Cooper assisted by Henry Arras. The Bulldogs dominated most of the game and were finally able to break through the Orange Beach defense to secure the win.  This was the first area win for the Bulldogs (5-6, 1-2) after dropping their first two area games 1-2 to Bayside and 0-2 to St. Michael in close matches on the road.  The first area game played at Urquhart field was a big win for the Bulldogs, and keeps them in the hunt for a spot in the postseason.

The Bulldogs hit the road again next week for a Tuesday game at Satsuma before returning home for their next two games against Area 1 rivals St. Michael and Bayside.
