The UMS-Wright Boys Soccer team is 6-8-1 with one game remaining before Spring Break. Earlier this month, the Bulldogs won 3 out of 4 games with wins over Thomasville, Orange Beach and Satsuma. They have since dropped two area games to state ranked Bayside and St. Michael in a stacked 4A Area 1. The Boys Varsity Soccer team tied St. Paul's 2-2 in a hard fought match at home last night at Urquhart Field. The boys were down 1-0 at the half, but 10 minutes into the second half
Joseph Price scored on a header assisted on a
Henry Arras corner kick. Midway through the second half, the Bulldogs went up 2-1 with an upper 90 goal by
Henry Arras coming assisted on a cross by
Joseph Price during the run of play. The Saints would put in an equalizer with 5 minutes remaining.

Bayside 2
The Boys Varsity soccer team lost a tough one 2-1 to the #4 ranked Bayside Admirals. The Bulldogs led at half 1-0 on a goal from
Joseph Price. In the 65th minute, Bayside scored to tie it up. The match stayed 1-1 until Bayside scored with less than a minute left in the match.
March 12th

Satsuma 0
The Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Satsuma last night 1-0.
Kingston Phan scored on a header assisted on a corner kick from
Henry Arras.
Christian Holloway secured the victory and the shutout with a diving penalty kick save in the second half.
Next Up: The Bulldogs will host Satsuma on Thursday (March 28th) before heading into Spring Break.
