The Varsity Tennis teams are two weeks away from their Sectional Tournament as they look to qualify for the State Tournament. So far his year the boys tennis team has a record of 8-2, and the girls have a record of 5-4. The Boys have won 7 matches in a row, including 6A Section 1 matches over Spanish Fort, Gulf Shores, Murphy and Theodore.  They also picked up non-Section victories over ASMS, Baker and Orange Beach. They play their final regular season Section match on Monday, March 31st against McGill-Toolen.

The Girls were 3-2 last week with a win over Gulf Shores on Thursday and are 4-0 in their Section 1 Matches after defeating Gulf Shores, Theodore, Murphy and Spanish Fort. Over the weekend, they played in the McGill Invitational tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center. The girls won the first match they played was against Mt. Carmel (7-2). They lost their next two matches to Auburn (3-5) and Madison Central (2-7) before finishing the tournament with a win against the hosts from McGill-Toolen (5-4). Sarah Ladd was selected as one of the all-tournament players, winning all eight of her singles and doubles matches.  Rhea Mostellar and Anne-Dyas Thompson both receive Sportsmanship Awards. They play McGill-Toolen in their final regular season Section match on Monday, March 31st
