The 8th Grade Volleyball team had a busy weekend, playing 7 matches in the Spanish Fort Invitational on their way to a 2nd place finish.  The tournament started with a Friday afternoon win over Central Baldwin, then the girls played 6 matches on Saturday.  After going 3-1 in pool play, the Bulldogs beat Daphne and Fairhope in bracket play to advance to the finals against the host team, Spanish Fort.  The Toros beat the Bulldogs in straight sets during pool play, but UMS-Wright took a set off of them in the Finals before falling 2-1.

Next Up: The Middle School Volleyball teams host Saraland on Monday, travel to St. Luke's on Wednesday and return home on Thursday for a match with St. Paul's
