Mrs. Tara Roberts, a dedicated educator and coach, brings a wealth of experience and passion to UMS-Wright Preparatory School. This is her 14th year in teaching and her second year at UMS-Wright, where she is excited to begin her first year as the Varsity Basketball Cheer coach alongside Tiffany Karamovic.

Mrs. Roberts earned her Bachelor's degree in History and Social Studies Education from The University of Alabama in 2004. Building on her commitment to educational excellence, she recently completed a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from The University of West Alabama.

Her love for dance began at the age of four and continued throughout her school years and into college. During high school and college, Mrs. Roberts shared her passion by teaching dance and choreographing cheer routines for middle and high schools in the Mobile and Tuscaloosa areas.

Tara is married to Bo Roberts, a member of the UMS-Wright Class of 2000, and together they have a daughter who is now a Bulldog as part of the UMS-Wright Class of 2039.

Mrs. Roberts is enthusiastic about fostering the same spirit and dedication in her students and cheerleaders that she has carried throughout her life and career.
