Coach Meagan Dobbins enters her 7th season as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. Before her time at UMS-Wright, Coach Dobbins coached high school and club volleyball for several years.
A 2012 graduate of Murphy High School, Coach Dobbins returned as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Murphy High School, under Head Coach Nancy Shoquist, helping her team to advance to the AHSAA State Tournament.
Coach Dobbins graduated from Falkner State Community College, where she earned a scholarship to play volleyball. After graduating, Coach Dobbins transferred to the University of South Alabama where she received her bachelor's in Sports Management . Coach Dobbins enjoys spending time with her daughter Lauren, a third grader at UMS-Wright.
