Coach David Peebles enters his third season on the Varsity Football Coaching Staff as the Defensive Backs coach. He also teaches 11th Grade U.S. History and A.P. Human Geography

Coach Peebles began his coaching career as an Offensive Graduate Assistant at South Alabama from 2008-2010. Then, he coached the wide receivers and taught history at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School for two years. After that, he joined the staff at Spanish Fort High School, where he served as pass game coordinator and special teams coordinator for 2 years, before coaching the wide receivers at Baldwin County High School. In his last stop before coming to the Bulldogs, Coach Peebles worked as the Head Varsity Football Coach at Cottage Hill Christian from 2016-2018.
Coach Peebles is a 2001 graduate of Gulf Shores High School where he lettered in football and basketball. He earned a B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of South Alabama. Peebles and his wife Erin have been married for 15 years and have three children: Lily (11), Reese (8), and Samuel (3).
