Coach Brandon Dean enters his 19th year as a Varsity Football Assistant Coach and Varsity Assistant Track & Field Coach at UMS-Wright. He currently serves as the Offensive Coordinator & Offensive Line Coach. Previously, he coached the Defensive Line and Outside Linebackers. Coach Dean has served as the Bulldogs Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the past 17 years. He has been a part of 41 State Championships both as a player and coach while at UMS-Wright. Coach Dean received the AHSAA 4A Assistant Coach of the Year Award in 2019. He also received the Frank Broyles Award in 2019, which recognizes the top Assistant Coach in the State of Alabama.
Coach Dean graduated from UMS-Wright in 2000, where he lettered in Football & Track. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005, where he lettered and played football for the Crimson Tide for 4 years. Coach Dean and his wife Tabitha have 2 children. Welles is 4 and is in K-4 at UMS-Wright. Louise is 1 year old, and will be a Bulldog in 2 years.
